Joy is a director and BAFTA, RTS & Grierson nominated series producer.

She most recently directed, produced and filmed 'Poisoned: Killer in the Post' a two-part premium documentary series for Channel 4. The series premiered at Sheffield DocFest and aired on Channel 4 across two nights in July 2025.

In 2023 Joy was nominated for a BAFTA Craft Award Emerging Talent for 'Super Surgeons: A Chance at Life'. Which she filmed and series produced. Joy produced & edit produced the BAFTA, RTS & Grierson nominated series 'Baby Surgeons: Delivering Miracles'.

 

Joy has a background in observational documentaries, specialising in sensitive access. Over the course of her career she has covered a variety of subject matters, from pregnancy loss, mental health, cancer, terminal illnesses and suicide. Joy has a proven track record of delivering high quality, engaging and heartfelt series for large British broadcasters.
